Goa Lawah

Goa Lawah is one area of the temple is known as one of the important temples in Bali. Pura Goa Lawah including in rural areas Pesinggahan, Dawan sub district, Klungkung Regency . The distance is about 10 km to the east of the Klungkung town or less than 50 km from the city of Denpasar. According to the historians this temple was built in the 11th century by MPU Kuturan idea, The name of the temple was derived from the tourist attractions of the word “Goa” and “Lawah” which means the bat, so Pura Goa Lawah means a temple in which there are a thousands of bats on the cave. Bali Magic Tour

Our first program is invite you to visit the Hall of Justice (Kertha Gosa), located in the center town of Klungkung in front of the Puputan Klungkung Memorial, which was built in 1710 by Dewa Agung the King of Klungkung. The ceiling of the hall completely covered inside with Kamasan style painting. The painting contains a story from the Epic of life or the history of Bali. In the center was built Bale Kembang (Floating Hall), the ceiling full with Kamasan Painting.
